"Artumaama" is a Marshall Islands-registered LNG carrier with a length of 315 meters and a width of 50 meters. On this voyage, the Artumaama, carrying 95,000 tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG), arrived at the LNG receiving terminal located in the Transhan Peninsula of Ningbo from the Port of Ras Lafan, Qatar. It is scheduled to leave the port on August 20 after the completion of unloading.  It is also the 500th LNG vessel to receive docking since CNOOC's Zhejiang LNG receiving station was put into operation in 2012.

LNG terminal staff told reporters that LNG is liquefied natural gas, its main component is methane. Compared with other common fuels, LNG has many advantages such as safety, reliability, clean environmental protection, flexibility and convenience, so it is widely used in social production and life.  Since its commissioning, the terminal has received a total of LNG34.59 million tons, equivalent to 50.9 billion square meters of natural gas, which is equivalent to the total gas consumption of Zhejiang Province in 34 months (calculated based on the annual natural gas consumption of Zhejiang province in 2021 of 18 billion square meters).
