First, high temperature strength. With the exception of Zhenhai, Beilun and Ninghai, the other districts, counties and cities all experienced extreme high temperatures above 40℃. In the urban area (Yinzhou National Weather Station, the same below), the continuous high temperature above 38℃ reached 328 minutes (10:50 to 16:17 on the 10th), the average temperature in this stage reached 39.1℃, the accumulated high temperature above 40℃ on the 10th was 38 minutes, the highest temperature was 40.3℃, successively appeared at 13:28, 14:15, 14:19.

Since meteorological records began in 1953, there have been 19 extreme heat days above 40 ° C in urban areas, all of which have occurred in this century, including two days in 2003, two days in 2005, two days in 2007, one day in 2009, 11 days in 2013 and one day in 2022. The first high temperature above 40℃ occurred on July 5, 2005, and July 10 this year was the second earliest.

Since July 5th, the high temperature above 35℃ has lasted for 6 days in the whole city, including 3 days above 38℃ in the urban area (8 to 10 days), which is the third in the history of the same period (5 days in 2007 and 4 days in 2005). The high temperature time above 38℃ in Yuyao was the longest, with a total of 634 minutes, which occurred from 14:04 to 15:11 on 6th, 13:08 to 16:36 on 8th, 12:53 to 15:40 on 9th, and 11:29 to 17:13 on 10th, respectively. The high temperature in yuyao showed a trend of early and late ending.
Finally, the range of influence is wide. In addition to 700 meters above sea level mountainous areas, the city generally appeared above 35℃ high temperature. Affected by the mainland dry hot westerly wind, parts of Xiangshan also experienced a rare high temperature above 40℃.
At the same time, along with the high temperature, the city from July 5 to 10 every day afternoon scattered thunder showers, during a total of 1498 times of lightning, the most frequent area for yinzhou (386 times), Haishu (287 times) and Zhenhai (235 times), mainly occurred at 15 to 19, the peak of lightning appeared at 18 o 'clock, Hourly ground flash frequency was 426 times, accounting for 28.44% of the total daily ground flash frequency. The maximum flashing intensity was -210.9 kPA (9 days, Haishu).
