It is reported that the "Changyi" ship is the world's largest container ship independently designed and built by China, with a total length of 399.9 meters, more than 60 meters longer than the world's largest aircraft carrier. It is 61.5 meters wide with a deck area of 24000 square meters, equivalent to 3.5 standard football fields. The maximum container capacity is 24,004 TEU, 12 teU more than the former world's largest container ship "Changfan" which first docked at Ningbo Zhoushan Port in August 2021.
